  1. James says:

Is this is institutionalised racism on the part of a publicly funded NHS organizations ?

Why is the Black community not represented in the 18 members of governing body of southwark CCG
Why is the four directors of Quay Health Solutions all White professionals

The above are all publicly funded via the NHS and represents 180 Thousands patient of north Southwark which
is a cosmopolitan and multicultural Society ,but how can theses organizations truly be complying to HEALTH & CARE in line with Race equality and health inequalities: Towards more integrated policy and practice when they have
no understanding of the demographics of North Southwark with no black voice to express an opinion and voice to ensure needs of the Black community is heard , not all of 180 Thousand are non white people ,
please investigate theses matters and see if you feel the same as I do that in 2018 this is unacceptable

    Quay Health Solutions

    About Us
Quay Health Solutions (QHS) was established in 2011 as a Community Interest Company (CIC). QHS is a group of 18 GP practices in North Southwark in the neighbourhoods of Bermondsey and Rotherhithe, and Borough and Walworth. This group of GP practices is called a federation. As a federation, we work together to provide care for 180 thousand registered patients across north Southwark.

QHS has been given funding by NHS Southwark Clinical Commissioning Group to work collectively to improve the quality of care in general practice and improve the health outcomes of local patients. We are working together to build strong relationships with other health and social care services in north Southwark, working within our Local Care Network. We believe it is better to work together so we can share resources and intelligence, reduce variation in the quality of care people receive in general practice and encourage efficiencies.

QHS have a core leadership team of five Directors who continue to work in their managerial and clinical roles at practice level. The Board of Directors is supported by an Executive Director who is responsible for developing the company and supporting the day to day operations of the federation. You can read more about our directors here.

QHS is one of two federations in Southwark, Improving Health is the federation in the south of the borough.
