DIVERSE MAGAZINE IFB2016 CONFERENCE
Date: June 17, 2016
Venue: Liverpool Exhibition Centre
Following the success of the 2014 IFB conference the 2016 conference again aims to be the flagship IFB2016 event for exploring Global Best Practices in Diversity & Inclusion particularly in the Manufacturing sector and will look at how embedding Diversity and Inclusion within design, creativity and innovation enables companies to compete in global markets.
The conference will provide a unique opportunity for exchange of learning from, and network with, international leading diversity and HR professionals. Global Heads, Directors and VP’s of Human Resources and Diversity along with Boards Members of some of the world’s largest companies will be presenting alongside renowned authors, professors and experts to make up one of our most comprehensive agendas yet.
Our underlying themes throughout the one day of workshops / presentations and round-tables will explore how Diversity can help organisations in Business Growth, Innovation & Talent Management. Modules include : Leadership & Diversity / Inclusive Leadership / Diversity Recruitment / Generational Diversity / Diversity Leadership Metrics / Supplier Diversity
The conference will focus on how to deliver sustained tangible results in Diversity and Inclusion in an increasingly globalised environment. Leading experts will contribute a rich and diverse perspective of the international challenges and opportunities of providing an integrated, effective and efficient diversity and inclusion model “fit for purpose and fit for practice.” The 2016 conference will aim to deliver a universally benchmarked framework that will build on the conference themes of 2014 “Business Growth and Competitive Advantage through effective Diversity and Inclusion”.
As well as hearing from world class diversity and HR experts the conference will allow delegates to network with fellow professionals from across the globe.
A very important feature of the conference will be a Business Opportunity Fair. This will consist of Supplier Diversity Matchmaker and Business to Business (B2B) Exhibition, focusing on the particular sector within the themed week of the conference (ie Manufacturing Sector). The Supplier Diversity Matchmaker is specifically aimed at engaging diverse- and small- or medium-sized businesses into the supply- and value chain of large multi-national organisations. Therefore the large organisations with proven track record of providing opportunities for small, medium and diverse businesses, will be selected to attend the conference and match their opportunities with those businesses, enabling them to cast a wider net and tap into a larger pool of latent talent. By ‘diverse’ businesses we mean those owned by individuals who identify themselves as being belonging to the following groups: Black and Minority Ethnic (BME), women, Disability, LGBT, and Religious & Faith Beliefs. More inclusive and demographically representative supply chains help businesses generate services and products that are relevant to the diverse global community they serve.
